I know Austin, TX has many newborn and family photographers to choose from and I appreciate you taking the time to get to know a little about me.
I believe my experience, passion, and love for working with newborns, babies and children shines through in my work, but if you'd still like to know more about me, you've come to the right place!
I have over 30 years of experience working with children as a mom, a licensed daycare provider, a certified teacher, and now a professional newborn and family photographer.
I have been a photographer forever, but professionally for11 years. I shoot in RAW format and each photo gets processed by hand. I have taken countless classes and workshops and continue to grow and learn every day.
I am a member of PPA (Professional Photographers of America), APPA (Austin PPA), INPA (International Newborn Photography Association), and I am the Area Coordinator and a photographer for NILMDTS (Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep).
Originally from Maryland, but a Texan for the past 30 years, I can whole-heartedly proclaim that I love Austin and can't believe it took me so long to get here.
My three children are grown and out of the house so I have a lot of time to devote to my love for photography and my small business. When I'm not working, exploring downtown with my husband, or sleeping, I'm researching and studying about lighting, posing, shooting techniques and running a business.
When I write it out it doesn't sound like fun, but I can't even tell you how much I love what I do. I wish everyone could love their job this much!
I am inventive, creative and detail-oriented when designing your portraits.
