Austin Pets Alive Volunteer Photographer
So I decided to spend the majority of my day off taking photos of dogs at Tarrytown and Town Lake Animal Center that are up for adoption and need new profile pictures. I am exhausted! It's about 97 degrees out and I did about a million squats getting down on doggie-level to get the best shots. Tarrytown has all of the little dogs (and even some puppies!). Did you know that chihuahuas like to pee on you? One tried, but he missed me, ha! TLAC has the bigger dogs, mostly pitbull mixes and yeah, I was a little intimidated. But I had a wonderful handler getting the dogs out for me so I could photograph them. Hopefully my pics will help them find forever families!
