Baby Nate

Introducing adorable baby Nate! Nate’s mom and dad, Stephanie and Cody brought this little man into my studio for a newborn session just last month.

I first met Stephanie and Cody when they brought big sister, Delilah to my studio for a newborn session. They are the cutest, most down-to-Earth couple I’ve ever met. I totally fell in love with their little family and was super excited for them when I heard they were having another baby. I was even more excited to find out they were going to come see me again for more newborn photos! It makes me so happy to have the opportunity to capture families over the years and to see how their little ones grow.

I can’t believe Delilah is two already! During newborn sessions when siblings are present, I like to give them even more attention then the new baby. This helps gain their trust and cooperation and also helps lessen any jealousy they may have of the new baby. So, to get things started, I did some photos of big sister D on her own. She was hamming it up in front of the camera! 

In order to get some cute pictures of big sister with baby Nate, we hid smarties around him so Delilah would look for them. The result was that it looked like she was touching and loving on her little brother. Smart, huh? I'm all about bribes and sneaky tactics to get the shot.
